Abstract
Retention of the placenta is retention or absence of placenta up to or beyond 30 minutes after birth. Placental retention is one of the causes of bleeding that can result in maternal death. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Age with Retensio Placenta Occurrence at Maternal Mother in RSB Paradise Kecamatan Simpang Empat Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu.
This research method is an analytic survey and using case control approach to analyze the relationship between age with incidence of placental retention in maternal mothers in RSB Paradise Tahun 2016 by using purposive sampling technique. The research data is obtained from secondary data register mother of birth.
Based on Chi-Square test result between age with placenta retention occurrence obtained Value Value 0.000 ≤ α 0,05 Ha is accepted which means that there is significant correlation between age with incidence of retention of placenta in maternal mother, so it can be concluded that age become one of cause The occurrence of placental retention in maternal mothers.
