Abstract
Adolescence is the transition period between childhoods to adolescence, and also the transition period with potential of antisocial behavior. There are some influence factors to happening of adolescent delinquency; one of them is care pattern of parent.
Care pattern applied will influence of the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of child. The objective of this research is to find out the relationship between child perceptions about care pattern of parent with adolescent mischief delinquency at senior high school of Pasundan 3 Bandung.
This research uses descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The purposive sampling was taken within 243 students from class X and XI, while the data was collected using by questioner and then analyzed using by chi square test.
The result of this research explained that there is a relationship between child perception and permissive care pattern with adolescent delinquency (p = 0.045 < α = 0.05), and child perception and neglectful care with adolescent delinquency (p = 0.001 < α = 0.05). Expected to school so that can be activate of communication between student parents with instructor especially with teacher of counseling so that parents and teachers can be know of child development in school and at home.
