Abstract

Mother who experience a lack of milk production are caused by nutrional factor where mother do not know what food can faciliotate breastfeeding. From interview 10 postpartum mothers obtained 8 postpartum mothers experiencing the inefficiency of breast milk which is caused by nutritional factors. Green bean essence is a therapy to facilitate breast milk. The purpose of this study was obtained from the primary data by using the questionnaire tools.

The design of study was Quasy Eksperimental With Pre and Post Test Without Control. The Sampel in study was 20 postpartum mothers by using purvosive Sampling technique.

The result of study was Sgn Test obtained p value 0,002 <0,005 it means that there was Effectiveness of Green Beans extractfor smoothing out therelease of breast milk.

The conclusion of this study, there was effectiveness of green bean extract for smoothing out the release of breast milkIt is expected that postpartum mother to consume the extract green beans regularly so it can smoothing out the release of breast milk.
