Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between maternal behavior in the use of diapers with toilet training in toddler aged 1-3 years.
This study was quantitative analytical with cross sectional approach, this study sample maternal who have children aged 1-3 years they were 56 respondents with purposive sampling technique.Teh study study from initial data retrieval on March 21, 2017and the imlementation of the research was conducted on 7 July 2017 until 23 July 2017.
The result of the study indicated that the percentage of maternal behavior in use of diapers in the less category were 30 respondents (53,6%), and children’s toilet training in bad category were 27 respondents (48,2%). Analysis by using Spearman Rank test obtained the result of p value 0,000 (<0,05).
In conclusion there was correlation between maternal behavior in the use of diapers with the toilet training on toddlers aged 1-3 years in Desa Kampung Baru Puskesmas Simpang Empat Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu in 2017.
