Nausea and vomiting is one of the common problems in the first half of pregnancy, 50-90%of women experience nausea and vomiting during the first trimester of their pregnancy. The purpose of this study to know the influence of aromatherapy (citrus lemon) on nausea vomiting in trimester I of pregnant women in Puskesmas Batulicin 1 Karang Bintang, Tanah Bumbu. Useful for overcoming infections, indigestion, refreshing the body, launching the body's circulation.
The study design was Quasi Experimental method with Pre And Post Test Without Control. Samples in this study were 20 first trimester pregnant women with Purposive Sampling technique.
The result of study was Wilcoxon there is a difference in the pretest scores, most of the respondents namely 14 people (70%) experienced moderate nausea and posttest, most of the respondents were 13 people (65%) experienced mild nausea and vomiting, test obtained p value 0,001 (<0,005)
The conclusion of this study, there was influence of aromatherapy (citrus lemon) on nausea vomiting in trimester I of pregnant women. It was suggested that this method of aromatherapy (citrus lemon) was used as guidance in midwifery care in pregnant mother especially to decrease nausea vomiting.
