Nurses In inpatient room and emergency department, need to knowledgeable and carry out the procedure to indentify risk for fall signals according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) started from emergency unit. Nurses have to obey SOP to decrease risk for fall incidents. There are many factors influencing the obedience of nurse to perform the procedure such as education, accommodation, knowledge, demographic variables (age, sex, education), etc.The aim of the study is to analyze the charateristics of nurse with and obedience of risk for fall signals in inpatient room on Islam Banjarmasin Hospital.This study is a cross sectional designed. The population is nurses in the inpatient room as much as 70 nurses. The technical sampling use proportional statified random sampling selected 60 nurses as respondent. The data analysis use Spearman Rank.The results show that a some respondent are at 26 – 35 ages, female, nursing assosiate degree with 6 – 10 year working period and always put the risk for fall bracelets. There are strong relationship between age, sex, education, working period with nurse obedient. Would be expected if the socialization to the not obeyed nurse about the SPO of puttting risk for fall bracelets.
