Abstract
The existence of mental disorders in the form of anxiety, emotional shock, can cause changes in the menstrual cycle. Usually temporary and disappear when the cause is no longer there. It is estimated that the number of those suffering from this anxiety disorder, both acute and chronic, reaches 5% of the population, with a ratio of 2 to 1 between women and men, and an estimated 2% 4% among the population at some point in their life who have experienced anxiety disorders. The formulation of the research problem is "How is the relationship between the history of the menstrual cycle and the anxiety history experienced by students in completing the final project?" This study aims to determine how the relationship between anxiety history and menstrual cycle history on students in the final semester of the Borneo Flower Midwifery Academy in 2020. This study used an analytical survey method with a retrospective design. The sample of this research was 31 final semester students who were working on KTI at the Flower Midwifery Academy in Kalimantan, Banjarmasin in 2020 with the sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling which was carried out by total sampling and the instrument used was an interview using a questionnaire. done manually and then made in the form of tabulations and presentations which will then be analyzed descriptively by combining theories related to research. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between anxiety history and menstrual cycle history in the final semester students of the Kalimantan Flower Academy in 2020. Therefore, it is necessary to manage stress / anxiety so as not to affect the menstrual cycle
