Abstract
This study intend to know the relations between early age pregnancy with premature childbirth occurence at dr. H. Abdurrahman Noor General Hospital on 2016, where 65 women pregnant with under age 20.
This study is using cross-sectional research from observational analytic method. The sample on this method is all of premature childbirth women at dr. H. Abdurrahman Noor General Hospital West Lombok Regency 2016 as much as 65 cases. The analytic which used is Chi Square program with SPSS For Windows version 16 computerization program system.
As result from study Chi Square test shows value is 9,032 , while value on 0.05 significance degree is 3.845 so can be explained that there’s a relation between early age pregnancy (13 to 19 years old) with premature childbirth. And can be concluded that women’s age when give birth is one of risk factor of premature childbirth.
Expected to early age women (13 to 19 years old) could understanding the risk of premature childbirth that can increasing when early age pregnancy, so that need to be socialized in order to delay pregnancy at least until 20 years old above.
